Dublin’s FM104 have updated the sound of their imaging with a new set of jingles from ReelWorld which, they say, “bounce out of the speakers!”
The branding went live on the radio this week using themes from the ReelWorld ONE updating jingle service but the ReelWorld European team at MediaCityUK have given them a special custom touch.
FM104 Production Director Paul Duffy says:
“The sound of FM104 needed refreshing rather than a complete change. We had a solid base with the 2013 package so it was a case of what we could do to take that forward. Having worked with the guys at ReelWorld for years I knew exactly what they could do and they knew exactly what I wanted. Everything was very very easy and enjoyable from start to finish, although I’m sure Ant is delighted to see the back of me!”
ReelWorld ONE is used by hundreds of radio stations around the world including Z100 New York and KIIS L.A. The production company say that as tastes evolve, they are happy to tailor the finished imaging exactly to the station’s requirements.
ReelWorld’s European Managing Director Anthony Gay said:
“I’ve always been a big fan of FM104 and it’s an absolute honour to work with Paul, Dave and the guys in Dublin. They trusted us to take their sound and give it a special twist. We had a lot of fun making these.”
Paul Duffy added:
“I love how they sound on air. It gives the station the exact lift I had in my head. I want jingles that bounce out of the speakers – And they do! I especially love the Top of Hour news sequence. It gives our news a fresh lease of life.”
