Former Nova Assistant Programme Director, 98FM Producer and iRadio PD Dave Alsybury is joining Juice 107.2 in the UK.
He’s been hired as Managing Director of the UKRD dance and pop station in Brighton.
“Dave is going to be a great asset to both Juice 107.2 and UKRD Group and has a range of skill sets that will become increasingly important as the next few years unfold,” says UKRD’s Chief Executive Officer, William Rogers. “His knowledge of local radio, commercial and public sector, as well as his particular personal focus on all things digital will be a real bonus for us”.
“At 33, and our youngest Managing Director, he also represents a younger generation of radio professionals and brings with him a fresh new way of looking at a range of issues we all face from time to time. I’m looking forward to the contribution he will make both to the station and the wider group.”
Dave says that he could not wait to “take up the reins” at the station and was looking forward to working with his new colleagues in Brighton and also the bigger UKRD family.
“This station is a dream job for me and I can’t wait to get started,” he said. “UKRD is a great company and represents an increasingly rare opportunity to get involved at a station where local decisions are taken locally and local communities really matter.”
