Keith McCormack takes over as Today FM CEO

Today FM has appointed Keith McCormack as Chief Executive Officer, subject to the normal regulatory approvals.

Keith has been CEO of sister station 98FM since 2014 and will make the move to Today FM from June 1st. He replaces Peter McPartlin who was Today FM Chief Executive and TXFM CEO for four years until he quit in November last year.

Commenting on the appointment, Gervaise Slowey, Chief Executive of Communicorp, said: “I am delighted to announce Keith McCormack as the new CEO for Today FM. Keith is a true leader and has built a phenomenal team in 98FM. The station has enjoyed both commercial and market share growth under his stewardship. He has a strong track record in commercial development, sales and marketing and I know his expertise will be invaluable to the future growth of Today FM.”

Prior to joining 98FM, Keith worked for 6 years with Failte Ireland where he held various roles including Director of ‘Visit Dublin’ and Head of Events. Keith also held marketing positions in Greenstar, Glanbia and Irish Biscuits.

Commenting on his appointment Keith said; “I am honoured to be joining the team at Today FM. I am looking forward to working with such a talented group of people both on and off the air and hope that together we will continue to grow, innovate, and deliver the great radio Today FM is known for.”

Keith holds a degree in Marketing Management from Trinity College and a Masters in Public Relations from DIT.
