Spare land at RTÉ’s headquarters in Dublin 4 is to go on sale at a price of €75m.
RTÉ reported on the news this morning, saying the land could be used to build up to 500 housing units subject to planning permission.
The area for sale includes Mount Errol House, a protected structure built in the 19th Century.
Plans for a structural reorganisation of the broadcaster are also expected to be announced today, which will include a number of job loses – maybe as many as 300.
