Programme Directors to share insights at event

Programme Directors from around the industry are to share insights at a Learning Waves Skillnet event on 27th November 2018.

Learning Waves Skillnet will host its final workshop on 27th November 2018 where a range of Programme Directors will share their insights into the current state of radio and the future opportunities that lie ahead for radio in terms of talent, audience and content.

The line-up includes Paul Sylvester, Content Director, Absolute Radio UK who will talk about the ’10 ways Absolute Radio changed in 10 years’  and about ‘Life after Christian’.

Alongside Paul, 98FM’s Programme Director Michael Brett will share the station’s success story and reveal about winning the IMRO Music Station of the Year 2018 and how he manages talent, content and audiences in 98FM. 

Then, a panel discussion where Nessa McGann, Programme Director, Spin South West, Robbie Fogarty, Deputy Programme Director, Sunshine 106.8, Eamonn Doyle, Programme Director from LMFM and Dave McArdle, Programme Director from Corks Red FM will explain how they manage talent, audiences and content in their stations. 

The event will take place in the Alex Hotel in Dublin and will be limited to 20 places.  Bookings for this event can be made at Learning Waves Skillnet’s website.
