Popular 80s singer Lisa Stansfield has recorded a special Bank Holiday programme for Classic Hits 4fm.
The 60 minute show will be broadcast on Easter Monday at 6pm and in the programme Gareth O’Callaghan interviews Lisa and features some of her Classic Hits and one or two new songs from her new album SEVEN.
Gareth O’Callaghan told RadioToday: “Meeting Lisa was like having a drink with an old friend you haven’t seen for years. She’s great fun and her voice improves with the years. It’s a breath of fresh air to chat with a singer of her status who is not afraid to say it as she sees it!
“Lisa is living proof that the great singers of the 80s and 90s are still streets ahead of anyone making music today.”
The station has also had a recent special with George Michael.
It appears is visiting stations at the moment in Dublin, as she’ll also appearing on Q102 after 6pm today with Aidan Cooney.
