Registration has now closed for the Craol Féile, which is being hosted this year by Dublin South FM in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, on June 5th and 6th.
The Féile will commence on Friday evening June 5th with a drinks reception from 6.30-7.30PM, followed by a Welcome Address from Mary Mitchell O’Connor TD.
The evening continues with a Gala Dinner and the presentation of the 6th Craol Achievement Awards, which showcase the achievements of Irish community radio stations, in the categories of Commissioned Programming, Special Programming (Non-commissioned, once off), Speech Programme (Regularly Scheduled) and Music Programme (Regularly Scheduled).
Entries in the Craol Achievement Awards close this Wednesday, May 13th at 2pm.
Feile re-commences at 10.30am on Saturday morning June 6th, with 16 different workshops being held on various aspects of community radio in Ireland, and the final event is a panel discussion on Women in Broadcasting & Media, finishing at 6pm.
