New custom audio imaging for Cork’s 96FM

Cork’s 96FM has a new sound on-air, created by the team at Contraband Media in the UK.

The imaging package uses American voice-over Harry Legg as well as native female voice-over Fiona Scally. The music and sound design are elements from Contraband Media’s production service ‘Imaging Blueprint’ which Cork’s 96FM is a long term client.

Brendan O’Driscoll, Corks 96FM Content Director said: “As users and big fans of Imaging Blueprint, it seemed only natural to turn to the team behind it for our custom imaging refresh. Contraband Media worked closely with us to create fresh new imaging for Corks 96FM, and we’re thrilled with the end result.

“All the elements work really well, delivering a contemporary sound with greater momentum…a big thank you to all the team!”

Adam Burgess, Contraband Media Company Director told RadioToday: “It’s been a pleasure to work on this project with the talented team at Corks 96FM. We feel it’s testament to the strength of Imaging Blueprint that our clients order custom packages. It makes us feel very proud of the hard work our IB team put in. We love hearing the new imaging on-air.”

Tom Cross, Contraband Media Company Director added: “This custom package has been a lot of fun to produce. It’s allowed us to create a strong sonic identity for their various features and align all the imaging together. We’ve created something fresh that sets Cork’s 96FM on a new sonic journey.”
