The David Harvey Show re-appears at 4FM

After an extended summer break, David Harvey is returning to multi-region radio station 4fm with his daily radio show.

The station says David has been re-hired in response to listener demand.

The presenter disappeared without warning in May with only a tweet to confirm the schedule had changed, adding an extra hour to the end of Robbie Fogarty’s show and bringing forward the start time of Gareth O’Callaghan’s afternoon show.

Andy Matthews, Programme Director told RadioToday: “I am delighted to confirm that the David Harvey Show is returning to Classic Hits 4FM on Monday August 26th at 1pm. As outlined earlier this year we are constantly reviewing our schedule, that is what keeps us fresh and interesting.

“The return of David Harvey is due to listener demand, we had an incredible reaction when the show was off air and David Harvey returning to the daytime talk show slot is yet another good news story for Classic Hits 4FM.”

The station serves Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway with classic hits mostly from the 60s, 70s and 80s.
