Ryan Tubridy is heading back to the BBC in the summer to cover another three week stint at BBC Radio 2.
The presenter will swap RTÉ 2fm’s 9-11am for BBC Radio 2’s 5-7pm slot in July, covering two weeks for Simon Mayo for the second time. He’ll also cover another single week at Easter.
Last year Simon Delaney covered Tubridy on 2fm but there’s no word on who’ll be covering this year, now the station has a new schedule.
“I’m going back to the Beeb this summer to do the same slot in July, which is the Simon Mayo slot,” Tubridy told the Herald.
“It’s only two weeks, and then I will do another week the week after next going into Good Friday, but I don’t have the time to give them any more, I have to have some down time here.”
