Tara Farrell, Sponsorship Manager, RTÉ Radio said: “RTÉ Radio Sales are delighted to confirm Bank of Ireland as new sponsor of one of RTÉ Radio 1’s top performing shows. ‘The Business’ sponsorship will deliver a highly effective platform for Bank of Ireland to communicate with its business customers. It’s a fitting endorsement of RTÉ Radio 1’s large national reach that when businesses have important messages to convey, they turn to RTÉ Radio 1.”
Commenting on the sponsorship Mark Cunningham, Managing Director, Bank of Ireland Business Banking said: “As Ireland’s leading business bank, the sponsorship of Ireland’s most popular business show is an obvious choice for Bank of Ireland. We are constantly looking for new ways to engage with our existing and potential customers and the entertaining and diverse format used by ‘The Business’ provides us with a fresh avenue in that regard. We are optimistic that the recent uplift in business confidence which has seen us provide over €2.1 billion in new approvals will be sustained in the traditionally busier second half of the year and the launch of this new sponsorship coincides perfectly with our increasing goals and ambitions.”
