Today FM will host a night of music and comedy in Dublin’s Vicar Street on Thursday, 14th May in memory of the late great Tony Fenton.
The gig, entitled ‘All the Young Dudes’ will feature top names from the Irish music scene including Aslan, Something Happens and The Stunning. The Minutes, Wallis Bird and Mick Flannery will also take to the stage, with more acts to be announced in the coming weeks.
Tony Fenton was renowned for his support of Irish music and every act performing on the night has previously appeared on The Tony Fenton Show on Today FM.
All proceeds from the ‘All the Young Dudes’ will go to Today FM’s Shave or Dye in support of the Irish Cancer Society. Tony was a huge supporter of the annual charity drive and was central to its success year after year.
After his diagnosis in 2012, Tony became a great spokesman and sounding board for cancer sufferers.
Tickets are on sale from today, Monday, 20th April priced at €26 (incl booking fee) and will be available on ticketmaster.ie and from usual Ticketmaster outlets nationwide.
To donate €2 to Today FM’s Shave or Dye or Oh My in aid of the Irish Cancer Society, text ‘SHAVE’ to 50300.
