98FM in Dublin is the first radio station in Ireland to air the INTROS service from On The Sly Audio Production in London.
98FM joins leading stations around the world like 104.3 myFM Los Angeles (KBIG), Nova FM network (Australia) and many others in branding their name musically into the biggest hits to cement artist ownership.
The specialist production service, which sees the station’s name sung at the beginning of key tracks in the style of the original artist, went to air for the first time earlier this week.
98FM Imaging & Production Manager, Pat Gill said:
“Our new sung intros are different to anything else in the Dublin market. They’ve only been on air for a few days but already the response from listeners has been incredible. They are so powerful in branding 98FM over the songs we play and will evolve as we add new music to our playlist. We have many exciting plans for our imaging over the next few months, and are delighted to partner with On The Sly for this project.”
