Tubridy’s new Radio 1 show to be sponsored by Vodafone

Vodafone Ireland have signed up as sponsor for Ryan Tubridy’s new programme on RTÉ Radio 1, under a one-year deal.

The programme, which is is billed by RTÉ as a “fast-paced entertaining and informative 60 minutes of morning radio”, begins on RTÉ Radio 1 next Monday.

It sees Tubridy take over the one-hour 9-10am slot between Morning Ireland and Today with Seán O’Rourke, formerly occupied by the John Murray Show, following five years on sister station RTÉ 2fm.

The communications company will use the sponsorship to promote its broadband and home phone services.

RTÉ also recently signed up Lloyds Pharmacy to sponsor Liveline, while Volkswagen sponsor The Ray D’Arcy Show.
