Money is being raised by Limerick’s Live 95FM for the Children’s Ark Unit at the University Hospital Limerick, with a new night out at the dogs.
The night will feature the usual 12 races and a special Human Race which will feature representatives of shows from across the daily schedule.
The station is continuing to make money to benefit the Neo Natal Unit and CARI Limerick for the 7th year and brings the total raised by the 95 Stop Tour for Limerick Kids to over €400,000.
“Limerick’s Live 95FM are delighted to be involved with these fantastic causes and to help in raising vital funds again this year. We are thanking the listeners of Live 95FM for their support over the years. We simply would not have been able to raise this amount of money without them,” said Nicola Quinn, 95 Stop Tour Co-ordinator.
John McCarthy, Sales, Commercial & Operations Manager at Limerick Greyhound Stadium, commented, “Limerick Greyhound Stadium is synonymous with fundraising in the region, and therefore we are delighted to be able to offer our venue as the launch-pad for this year’s programme. We look forward to welcoming all both young and old, on what promises to be a fantastic night”
Live 95fm’s JP Dillon will broadcast live from the stadium and entertainment will be provided after racing until late, on Friday, September 16th at Limerick Greyhound Stadium.
