A new promotion is starting on Midlands 103 today, where listeners can win their height in cash.
The station says contestants who are vertically challenged might want to have a taller person represent them in the competition.
It’s being run to celebrate the 25th birthday of Laois Shopping Centre, and finalists will be selected each day and a Grand Final will be held at the shopping centre on Thursday, December 1st. The final two will win their height in cash.
Tindle Radio’s Group Programme Director Will Faulkner insists high heels and thick stockings are banned. He told RadioToday: “We’re looking forward to great fun with this competition. Who in the midlands stands head and shoulders above the crowd? They’ll be literally worth their height in cash at the Grand Final so every inch counts.”
