SPIN South West has announced that Ed Roche has join Meghann Scully as co-host of their breakfast show Fully Charged.
Ed’s previous presenting duties include presenting The Weekend Breakfast Show and The Drivetime Request Show at Radio Kerry. He has also presented “The Cracked i” on iRadio for the past two years.
Ed has previously worked in SPIN South West as presenter of The Zoo Crew Hot 30 where he was nominated for Best General Music Programme in 2013. In 2014, Ed won an award for that very category for SPIN South West.
Programme Director Nessa McGann commented: “I’m absolutely delighted that Ed has re-joined us to helm Breakfast at the No.1 Music Station in the South West. Ed is a radio natural, a consummate professional and a really funny guy – he is going to shake up the airwaves in the morning and together with Meghann will deliver a really funny, compelling and must-listen- to Breakfast show. We’d all like to wish them the very best – check them out from 6.45am every morning on SPIN South West.”
Ed Roche also commented: “Almost 10 years ago when SPIN South West opened its doors, I read news for this very show. Now, years later I get to sit at the other side of the desk and present Fully Charged! I feel like I’ve pretty much come full circle. I really can’t wait to wake up the South West of Ireland alongside Meghann. I know we’re going to bring a brand new vibe to breakfast radio – it’s going to be a lot of fun! Bring it on!!!”
