Radio NOVA to raise funds with Mind Over Matter

Radio NOVA has teamed up with Mind Over Matter, a fundraising event taking place on the 10th October 2018 in locations across Ireland.

Mind Over Matter is an initiative that aims to bring the Design community closer, reduce the stigma around mental health, and raise much-needed funds for mental health awareness.

It enables businesses of all sizes to consult with the best of Irish design talent for a minimal fee, on October 10th, World Mental Health Day, with 100% of all proceeds going to AWARE.

Businesses all over Ireland can avail of this opportunity as the national day of creativity will take place in Dublin, Belfast, Carlow, Cork, Dundalk, Limerick and Waterford.

Radio NOVA’s CEO Kevin Branigan said: “We’re more happy to support this initiative. It’s very important that the stigma around mental health is broken down and it’s great to see such an initiative from the creative community”.

Mind Over Matter Founder Kim MacKenzie Doyle said: “Design is really accessible and does not always assume the massive price tag companies expect. It makes a fundamental difference in how your customers engage with you… A designer can see things differently, essentially from a customer centred viewpoint, they can resolve problems with creative solutions, spot an opportunity and make things work more effectively. It is not a marketing activity it’s a business development necessity. Collectively, just under 200 designers want to get behind this initiative to reduce the stigma around mental health and raise funds for mental health awareness and we’re very grateful to Radio Nova for their generous support.”
