Highland Radio has appointed Shaun Doherty as Acting Managing Director, replacing Charlie Collins who recently resigned.
Mr Doherty has 23 years experience in Highland Radio serving on the Board of Directors and Management Team as well as hosting the local daily current affairs show, The Shaun Doherty Show.
In a statement commenting on the appointment the Chairman of Highland Radio Gerry Rabbitt said that not only does Shaun bring his vast experience in local radio management to the role, he also has a finger on the pulse of the Donegal community.
In one of his first duties as Acting Managing Director, Shaun Doherty has appointed country singer Gary Gamble to join the daytime line up.
Gary will be playing his mix of Irish & American Country music daily from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
The Highland Radio statement concludes by stating ‘ Highland Radio is committed to serving its valued listenership by continuing to deliver new talent and outstanding programming.’
