iRadio’s iWAKEUP with Dave and Oonagh has been voted Ireland’s favourite morning radio show by the readers of rsvpmagazine.ie.
Almost 24,000 people voted over the last fourteen days, and Dave and Oonagh’s iWAKEUP got 45% of the votes putting them in first place ahead of 4FM’s Jim McCabe in second place and 2FM’s Hector in third.
Dave told mediastreet: “We are on air just two years together and in this time we have seen huge audience growth and a massive shift from the more established morning shows over to ours and to get over 45% of votes in this poll is such a great reward for all the 4am alarms.
“We have such a great interactive relationship with our audience, I have worked in many radio stations but never experience an audience so loyal as the one to iWakeUp on iRadio.”
iWAKE UP is on weekdays from 6:50am, sponsored by Green Farm Foods, and features the iJacker Prank Calls, the Classic Three at 9 and The Wednesday Wind-Up
