AA Insurance, the motor, home and travel insurer are new sponsors of Today FM’s morning programme The Ray D’Arcy Show.
RadioToday understands the deal is worth in excess of €600K rate card value.
Today FM’s Sponsorship and Promotions Manager Frank Dillon said: “Ray’s audience are one of the most intelligent and active in the country and they appreciate that sponsorships enhance what the show can offer them. The sponsorship is delivered by a combination of stings across the show each day, promotions for listeners to win great prizes and other engagements that are yet to be announced.”
Alan Fox, the AA’s Sales and Marketing Director said: “We’re thrilled with this sponsorship deal and feel that the show is a great fit for our brand and in particular, will enable us to grow awareness and consideration for our suite of Home products. The Ray D’Arcy Show sponsorship will form an integral part of our wider marketing activities over the coming months”.
Clear Blue Water handles media buying for the AA and was instrumental in organizing this new partnership.
Ray D’Arcy attracts 243,000 listeners each weekday morning and Today FM is Ireland’s largest national independent radio station reaching 896,000 listeners every week, according to the latest JNLR figures.
