New contracts for Galway, Clare & Tipperary

The output of Galway Bay FM, Clare FM and Tipp FM is secure for another 10 years after the BAI signed new contracts for their owners.

The three separate stations, all licensed by the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland, cover Galway, Clare and Tipperary.

Speaking at the contract signings, Bob Collins, Chairperson of the BAI, said: “We are delighted to sign the contracts today with Galway Bay FM, Clare FM and Tipp FM. Each of these three local services has provided a unique and distinct voice in their respective franchise area and today’s signings secure the continuation of these valued services into the future.

“The BAI wishes each contractor continued success in serving their audiences over the duration of the next contract period.”

The BAI was represented at the contract signings by the Chairperson, Bob Collins and Michael O’Keeffe, Chief Executive.

Yesterday new contracts were signed with Midwest Radio & LMFM.
