11 year old Matthew Burke, who goes to St. Marys National School in Tallaght, Dublin, is hosting a Christmas special on RTÉjr radio.
Matthew returns to the digital station with a half an hour Christmas special edition of his radio show, The Colour Chart, exploring all the magical colours of Christmas: red, silver, gold and white.
The station says: “Matthew will be out having snowball fights in the a winter wonderland and finding out what snowflakes are actually made from. He’ll be looking at beautiful Christmas trees and exploring where all the different colourful decorations come from, tracing them back to different countries all over the world.
“Brown is the colour of boxes!, and we’ll be finding out just how many parcels and presents make their way around the globe in the run up to Christmas and how they make the journey from the sender to the foot of your Christmas tree.”
Matthew will also be travelling to the North Pole to meet Santa’s head elf – RTÉjr radio, Saturday 21 December, 11.30am.
