Two graduates secure jobs at Radio Kerry

Two graduates from the Kerry Education and Training Board Radio Course, run by Radio Kerry Training, have secured permanent jobs within Radio Kerry.

Brendan Fuller and Ciaran O Regan are joining the programme team full time after freelancing at the station.

Killarney native Brendan Fuller takes over the Afternoon Show, Monday to Friday 2.30 to 5.30pm after recently hosting The Drive Request Show on Friday evening 6 to 9pm and Weekend Wake Up on Saturdays 7 to 9am. He has also worked on Radio Kerry Sport.

Corkman Ciaran O Regan, who is also a GAA Referee and Inter County Umpire and former Inter County hurler, has been presenting The Pulse Monday to Friday from 10pm to midnight for over a year. He will now take up the additional roles of schedule coordinator and producer of Terrace Talk.

General Manager Fiona Stack told RadioToday: “They are both very talented and have shown great to commitment and loyalty to Radio Kerry and its listeners already”.

In addition Ciaran will host the new one hour show, shaped by listeners, called RadioActive from 9 to 10pm on Friday nights.
