Presented by Paul Collins and sponsored by Sky Sports, with a selection of GAA experts live in studio every week for the next 19 weeks, the show will feature coverage of the Hurling and Football Championships.

Paul Collins will preview and review the action, with interviews, fan views and competitions forming a regular part of the programme.

John Duggan, Today FM Sports Editor, said: “The hurling and football championships capture the imagination of people throughout the country, and Today FM’s Championship Sunday taps into our collective anticipation at its peak on Sunday mornings. It’s going to be another fantastic season of Gaelic Games and we are delighted to welcome Sky Sports as sponsors.”

This week’s special studio guests are Kerry footballer Colm ‘Gooch’ Cooper and former All Ireland winning hurling captain from Tipperary, Tommy Dunne. There will also be exclusive interviews with Dublin’s star footballer Bernard Brogan and Clare hurling skipper Patrick Donnellan.

Michael Markey, Head of Brand, Sky Ireland, added: “Sky is delighted to be partnering with Today FM to bring quality reviews and previews of all the season’s Championship games to listeners across the country each week. The sponsorship complements our partnership with the GAA which will see Sky bring customers top quality content from our national games throughout the summer. Sky Sports GAA coverage of 20 live games will be available to watch on the go with Sky Go for the first time ever and on Sky Sports in HD.”
