Communicorp UK staff are heading to Dublin this December for their first company Christmas party.
The newly formed group, which is now the largest division of Denis O’Brien’s growing international radio empire, sent an email to all staff last week informing them of the complimentary festive treat.
“Our new company has made a fantastic start adding over 450,000 new listeners and exceeding our revenue goals so we are going to celebrate Dublin style,” management informed staff.
On the party invite, seen by RadioToday, bosses outline details of a company conference in the afternoon followed by an evening party at the Old Jameson Distillery.
Communicorp UK is now one of the biggest radio groups in the UK, operating three radio brands across England, Scotland and Wales under licence from Global Radio. They include hit music station Capital FM in Cardiff and Smooth Radio North West – the biggest commercial radio station in the UK outside London.
