Starting from Monday December 29th, and running to Friday January 2nd from 5pm each evening, the classic hits station talks exclusively to some of the world’s most popular stars, revealing everything from George Michael’s real name to Bob Geldof’s early memories of The Boomtown Rats.
Programme Director of Classic Hits 4FM, Andy Matthews said: “We’re delighted to rebroadcast these specials over the Christmas and New Year break. All shows are anchored by our own Gareth O’Callaghan. A lot of work went in to producing the shows and it will be great to hear them all over again, a real Christmas treat”.
Matthews pointed to 2014 as a great year at Classic Hits 4FM with the station achieving its highest JNLR figures over the past 12 months, and he said that the team are very optimistic for 2015, with the recent introduction of PJ Gallagher and Damian Farrelly to the breakfast show.
