Classic Hits 4FM’s long running “Classic Hit Bit” competition has been won, with a Dublin listener scooping a substantial cash prize.
Katherine Dillon, who works in the Texaco in Finglas, won €790 of the overall jackpot of €2000 from “Double Money Monday”.
The competition, ran for over for 4 months on the station, and has seen over 500 listeners trying to identify a tiny piece of the classic hit taken from a song on the Classic Hits 4FM playlist, which turned out to be a Michael Bublé classic – as you can hear in the audio below:
Katherine told Classic Hits 4FM that she’ll be using her prize money on an already-planned shopping trip to New York next month.
The Classic Hit Bit returns with PJ and Damian in the Morning on Monday January 12th at 8:15am, with an all new clip to be identified and twice the prize money on offer once again for “Double Money Monday”.
