Christmas FM returns for 2015 with new sponsors

An Post and Lidl Ireland are on board as Christmas FM’s sponsors this year, which is on-air from midday on November 28th across Ireland.

During the month, Christmas FM will be raising awareness and funds for Make-A-Wish Ireland, the charity which grants wishes to children with life threatening medical conditions.

The charity station is back in the Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin who has kindly given the studio space for free. We’re told a host of very familiar radio voices who will be volunteering their time to bring round-the-clock Christmas tunes and festive updates, as well as sharing their special Christmas memories and favourite holiday experiences.

Since 2008, Christmas FM has raised over €600,000 for charities including ISPCC, Barnardos, Simon, Focus Ireland, Age Action and Aware.

Garvan Rigby, co-founder of Christmas FM, says: “We are delighted to be back on air for our eight year and really excited to be working with new sponsors An Post and Lidl Ireland. We’d also like to thank the Ballsbridge Hotel in Dublin, which is home to the radio station again this year.”

Claire Moran, Senior Communications Manager at Lidl Ireland commented: “We are delighted to be sponsoring Christmas FM this year and look forward to working with such a fantastic team of individuals.
