Keith Ward takes over the FM104 Phoneshow

Phoneshow producer Keith Ward has taken over the late night show from Chris Barry on FM104.

Chris Barry left due to health reasons last year and Keith started the show solo this week.

He announced the news via social media, saying: “Finally can announce, I am the new presenter of the FM104 Phoneshow (only third full time presenter in its long history apparently). Poignant that this emotional clip was used in this promo, I look forward to talking to the ordinary people of Dublin with incredible and sometimes heartbroken stories in 2017…we go LIVE January 3rd!! Seeya there.”

The show started on the station in 1990 with Chris Barry. Adrian Kennedy and co-presenter/producer Jeremy Dixon took over the show in 1997 before Chris returned in 2013.

Perhaps you could tell me what happened to the current fm 104 phone show. It has completely changed its format. Two presenters mostly just talking to each other. No discussions with listeners phoning in and great debates. I’m so disappointed. !! I’ve been listening to this programme for over twenty years. I’ll have to look for a new radio station.
