Dee Woods moves to daytime on Radio Nova

Programme Director Colm Hayes is continuing to make changes at Radio Nova with the introduction of Dee Woods to daytime.

Dee started a new afternoon show today, on-air from 1pm till 3pm featuring an all 80s lunch driven by listener requests along with live music acts. She had been hosting evenings since leaving the breakfast show with husband and co-host Marty Miller.

“We intend to build a professional, sophisticated radio station that can compete at the highest levels in the industry,” Colm Hayes, Programme Director and ex-2FM presenter explained. “Dee is a great addition to our schedule. She is probably the best female presenter in Ireland at the moment and I couldn’t wait to get her back on daytimes.”

Dee says: “It’s an exciting new challenge for me, I really believe Radio Nova can become a huge player Dublin. I’m going to have fun with the listeners every day, I’m going to share my lunch with Dublin.’ Dee said as she munched into her first lunch live On Air.”

“We have some great plans in the pipeline, we are going to make Radio Nova the station you have to listen to everyday,” Colm added.
