Radio Nova is inviting listeners to a pre-release listening party of U2’s new album ‘Songs Of Experience’ at a secret location in Dublin.
The station says it is one of only a few in the world to be doing it, and is also giving listeners copies of the album before the release date.
The security for the event is very strict and everyone attending the event will only be told of its location hours before it happens. 12 Radio Nova listeners have qualified to attend but there’s more. At the end of the event one listener will win a trip to LA to attend another pre-release listening party and this time U2 will be there. They’ll have a meet and greet with the band in a secret location in Hollywood.
Programme Director Colm Hayes told RadioToday: “We’ve been working behind the scenes with U2’s management and record company. Radio Nova is the station for U2 in Dublin and I think this proves it. The album is going to be a real surprise and it’s amazing that we can let our listeners hear it before any other radio station in the world.
“The actual location will only be known by a handful of trusted people who are under oath not to disclose any details.”
