Ryan Tubridy goes on the road at RTÉ Radio 1

The Ryan Tubridy Show will take to the high seas next week as Ryan returns to the Wild Atlantic Way with Fáilte Ireland.

The mobile studio will be traveling around the country, starting from where he left off last year in Cork, in Clonakilty on Monday May 28th; traveling along the Wild Atlantic Way to Kenmare for broadcast on Tuesday May 29th. Then further west to Roundstone, Co. Galway on Wednesday May 30th and on Thursday 31st, the ‘Tubs on the Wild Atlantic Way’ tour wraps up in Ballina, Co. Mayo.

Throughout the week, Ryan will be speaking to locals involved in the business of tourism, historians, storytellers and more from the locality discussing some of the many activities and experiences available along the Wild Atlantic Way.

Ryan said; “We have the most beautiful coastline in the world for so many different reasons and it’s a pleasure for us to ramble along the Wild Atlantic Way for a week. The people we meet, the places we stay and the craic we have make it a most enjoyable few days for listeners to follow on our radio holiday together”.

Looking forward to the arrival of the Ryan Tubridy Show, Miriam Kennedy, Head of the Wild Atlantic Way, Fáilte Ireland, said “Ryan Tubridy is a fantastic ambassador for the Wild Atlantic Way and he can really get across to his listeners what it is all about and how it captures people’s imagination. We are encouraging everyone to come down and join in the fun and discover ways to ‘Embrace the Wild Atlantic Way of Life’ through the airwaves.”

RTÉ and Fáilte Ireland encourage everyone to come out onto the streets and attend the broadcasts.
