Two current radio stations, Claremorris Community Radio and Dundalk FM, have both reapplied for their Contracts.

The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland has announced the receipt of the applications for two community radio services, serving the areas of Claremorris and its Environs and Dundalk and its Environs.

Both services were advertised by the BAI last May.

Dundalk FM currently operates a 10-year community sound broadcasting contract which is due to expire on the 31st August 2019.

The BAI will now review the applications to ensure that all the information requested in the Guide to Submissions has been received and that the applications are valid. On completion of this review, the applications will be made publicly available.
