Cork’s 96FM has cheeky dig at Prendeville
Following Neil Prendeville’s decision to leave Cork’s 96FM to join rival Red FM, an outdoor ad has appeared with a subtle message.
The ad, which says “Why play with the knob” is a sure reference to Neil’s reported incident in 2010 which said the radio presenter apparently performed a sex act on himself on board an Aer Lingus flight.
After the headlines, he stayed at the station but lost his gig at the Cork News.
Neil starts at Red FM on March 31st going up against PJ Coogan who has taken over his old morning slot.
