One of Ireland’s best-known comedians, Neil Delamere will join Today FM in mid April with a new weekly Sunday show called “Neil Delamere’s Sunday Best”.
The new two-hour (11am-1pm) show, will take a look at the week’s events, not just current affairs stories but also the wider happenings of the week, in a light-hearted and intelligent way. The station say the format is one that will be relaxed but well informed.
Speaking about his move to Today FM, Neil – who is currently touring with a show titled “The Fresh Prince of Delamere” said: “It’s a real thrill having my own show on Today FM. The station gave me my first radio opportunity when I covered for Ian Dempsey way back when and I’m really looking forward to getting started. The aim with ‘Sunday Best’ is to offer listeners something different to the typical Sunday fare. It will offer clever and thought-provoking content that is not solely dictated by the news cycle. I’m confident that we’ll strike the right tone with our listeners through a combination of that slightly different take on the big stories, innovative feature pieces and new expert contributors as well as big name guests.”
Delighted to be joining the team @todayfmofficial Will be hosting a new show Sunday mornings from 11.
