Midlands 103, who broadcast to counties Laois, Offaly and Westmeath, are teaming up with local menswear retailer Galvin Tullamore to give €500 away every day to local worthy causes for 13 days.
Creative Director with Midlands 103 Robbie Donnelly told RadioToday that the station, who are celebrating 25 years on the air in 2015 and Galvin of Tullamore, who are celebrating 65 years in business this year, have come together for the promotion in order, “in order to give back and say a big thank you to the community!”.
For 13 days starting next Monday, August 10th, the Midlands Today show with Will Faulkner will be running the “Lucky 13 Community Cashback” – with €500 in cash to give away every day to charities and community groups in the midlands region.
With so many charities and groups out there, they want their listeners to choose who gets the cash prizes by nominating their favourite good causes on the station’s web site.
Midlands 103 broadcasts in the midlands region on 103.5FM and online from their Tullamore based studios.
