One group has applied for a community radio licence to cover Lucan & its Environs.
The application was received from Liffey Sound Communications Co-operative Society Limited, trading as Liffey Sound FM. Liffey Sound FM has operated under a community sound broadcasting contract, signed with the BAI on the 7th July 2006.
The BAI will now review the application to ensure that all information requested in the Guide to Submissions has been received and that the application is valid. On completion of this review, the application will be made publicly available.
The licence was advertised on December 9th 2015.
