Neil Prendeville to officially open a garden

Red FM’s Neil Prendeville is to officially open SHINE Cork’s Mental Health themed Green Ribbon Garden.

The event will take place at 2pm tomorrow (May 6th) at the Commemoration Centre, St Peters Church North Main Street Cork.

The garden, which is a multifaceted development project led by Shine Cork Basement Resource Centre involves input from a number of other participants from Rehab Care and the Inniscarrig Day Centre. The project is also supported by Shine, Cork County Council, See Change, HSE South and other Cork organisations and businesses.

Neil Prendeville has been the most prominent voice on radio in Cork over the past 25 years, where he stirs public debate and ignites the opinions and passions of Cork people. He was previously with 96FM.

SHINE is a national charity which supports people with mental ill health with various centres countrywide.
