A special outside broadcast by Midwest Radio will take place from Ballina this weekend to launch a local music festival.
The station will be live from the launch of this years 2016 Mayo Manchester Tradfest on Friday 29 July at Bar Square on Garden Street in the centre of Ballina from 6pm to 8pm.
The Free to enter VIP party will see a host of special guests join the performers taking part in the week long festival which is expected to attract over 50,000 people to North Mayo.
The six day Tradfest will see over 500 Irish musicians, singers and dancers are set to take over the numerous venues in Ballina and its surrounding towns for the week long Mayo Manchester Tradfest.
The festival’s Gala concert will see the Voice of Old Trafford, Mr Alan Keegan from Manchester United Football club flying over to host the special event at the Ballina Arts Centre which is being filmed by UTV.
