Oisin Langan, Sports Broadcaster at Newstalk, has announced he is leaving the station after 14 years.
He tweeted: “After 14 years my time in the wonderful @offtheball @NewstalkFM is done. While I may pop up here & there in the future I just want to say thanks to all the great sports people who shared their time with me over the years. It’s been a blast but now it’s time for the next adventure.”
He won the award for Best Paralympic Games Radio Coverage at the OCS Irish Paralympic Awards in 2016.
The Waterford native was presented with the award at a special ceremony in Dublin on Friday night.
Oisin also works at Setanta Sports providing reports, and will appear back on Newstalk at times in the future.
