Kerry native and Apprentice judge Brian Purcell has been appointed as the new Breakfast Show Presenter on Radio Kerry.
Brian who is from Ballyduff, Co Kerry started this morning August 6th as co-presenter of Kerry’s Full Breakfast with Elaine Kinsella.
Commenting on his new role in Radio Kerry Brian told RadioToday: “Going back to the wonderful Kingdom is a huge bonus but landing the gig on one of Radio Kerry’s flagship programmes is the icing on the cake!
“I’ve always been so passionate about what goes on outside of Dublin and being within the pulse of one of the country’s most successful radio stations is a huge honour for me and I promise to contribute to lots of upbeat fun with my beautiful co-host Elaine as we help wake up the people of Kerry each morning.”
Speaking about Brian’s appointment Fiona Stack, Radio Kerry General Manager, said, “We are delighted that Brian is joining the Radio Kerry team. He has been a regular contributor to the station over many years. He’s a lovely guy who has the Kerry way with words and a great sense of humour. We think listeners will enjoy starting their day with him”.
Brian is Managing Director of Big Picture Communications, a PR and Marketing Communications company that he set up in 2011 and will continue to run from his new base in Kerry.
