It’s Young People’s Takeover Day at RTÉ Radio 1 today, having kicked off at 9am on the John Murray Show.
John is joined by young presenters Fionn Hamill, Izzy O’Flaherty Stewart & Kenny Heffernan for the duration of his programme as part of Tots, Tweens and Teens week, then on Pat Kenny’s regular Friday slot The Gathering, youngsters discuss the topics that matter to them.
Later, from 3pm till 430pm, Derek Mooney airs from a Cobh classroom with the Mooney Nestwatch Cam. Then at 10pm, The God Slot airs a debate featuring four young people.
The day rounds up at 1030pm when Seascapes will be hosted by Sea Scouts from various locations.
