Eight listeners to Cork’s 96FM are battling it out to win a brand new Seat Leon car. The station has teamed up with a local dealer, Finbarr Galvin Motors, for the promotion.
The eight – who were qualified on-air over the past two weeks – started their test of endurance this morning at 8am. They have to keep their hands on the car and the last one to take his/her hands off will win it.
The competition will run twenty four hours a day until the car is won. The contestants will get 10 minute comfort breaks every two hours with longer breaks for lunch and dinner.
Two years ago, Cork’s 96FM ran a similar promotion which lasted over 55 hours.
