Sir Cliff is joining Marty in the Morning on RTÉ lyric fm for a special Christmas Eve edition of the show this year.
Cliff Richard and the Celtic Tenors will be playing their favourite Christmas tunes and spreading season’s greetings along with the usual travel updates, competitions and news and weather.
“There’s lots of festive fun with Marty in studio and several stars of the music world including Cliff Richard and the Celtic Tenors who bring us their favourite Christmas tunes and season’s greetings,” the station told RadioToday.
Neven Maguire also joins Marty with a Christmas dinner countdown.
Music includes Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride, Pavarotti with Gesu Bambino, and music about a doubting boy who boards a magical train for a journey to the North Pole from the soundtrack to The Polar Express.
