Matt Cooper to host Rush Hour on TXFM

Today FM presenter Matt Cooper is moving to TXFM to host the afternoon drivetime show “Rush Hour”, starting today.

The station launched only yesterday with Joe Donnelly on “TXFM Drive” but the surprise announcement was made online this morning.

Produced by station newcomer, Tom Sawyer and fronted by Cooper, ‘Rush Hour’ will air weekday evenings on 105.2FM and feature the complete back catalogue from Canadian rock band, Rush.

Instead of making ‘Permanent Waves ‘with politicians, Cooper is looking forward to stepping into the ‘Limelight’ with TXFM and paying tribute to his all-time favourite band. Commenting on the surprise signing, Cooper said: “This is a dream come true for me, my love of rock and radio finally get the chance to come together with ‘Rush Hour’. I think listeners will be pleasantly surprised by what they hear”.
