Classic Hits 4FM has launched an official Top 100 Classic Hits Countdown ahead of the show being broadcast on the next Bank Holiday Monday.
Listeners are being invited to vote for their favourite classic hits to be included in the show, which will be hosted by all presenters on Monday June 2nd. The countdown starts at 9am and will continue till 6pm.
Last year John Lennon and Imagine took the number one position.
Andy Matthews, Programme Director at Classic Hits 4fm told RadioToday: “This is the second year we have conducted the official countdown on Classic Hits 4FM and it really creates a buzz for the listeners and the guys on air alike, it always amazes me the songs that are voted for and ultimately what turns out to be number one. I’m sure there will be a few surprises in store on what will be always a great days radio.”
Every time a listener votes on text, on air or online they are registered to win a luxury seven night Mediterranean Cruise with travelcheaper.ie and Royal Caribbean International.
