Dublin’s Q102 today started a new promotion where listeners have to guess the name of a song from a one second clip.
The UTV station is giving away €5000 to the first listener to get it right and get thru to play the competition on-air. Listeners get a chance to hear the one second clip every hour out
of the news and text the station for 20 cent a go. Texter 102 on each occasion is called back and given the chance to guess “Dublin’s Q102’s One Second song”.
Speaking to RadioToday.ie, Dublin’s Q102’s Assistant Programme Director Matt Dempsey said: “For day one the response has been unreal. It’s a fresh idea as the promotion has never been done in this market before. It’s a bit of fun too. How long before somebody can get it right?
