FM104 have announced that their award-winning and market-leading breakfast show “The Strawberry Alarm Clock” has signed a partnership deal with the airline CityJet.
The deal, which was brokered between UTV Radio Solutions & Ad Vantage Media, is seen by the station as a major opportunity for both brands to come together and take flight.
FM104 say that both brands are synonymous with Dubliners and Dublin City, with the Strawberry Alarm Clock having dominated the Dublin airwaves for the past four years, and with CityJet being Irish owned and based in Dublin.
The station’s CEO Margaret Nelson says she feels this is the perfect opportunity for two iconic ‘city brands’ to come together to further entertain and service Dubliners.
She told RadioToday: “The Strawberry Alarm Clock has won numerous PPI Radio awards and we feel that a partnership with CityJet will help the show soar even further. The show is a unique, fun brand of radio that boasts a positive ethos based around its caption ‘Serious Messin’’. Such a light-hearted, iconic brand is the ideal partnership for CityJet, an airline that’s intrinsically linked with Dublin city.”
