Mark McCabe returns to the radio with iRadio

DJ Mark McCabe is joining iRadio for a new show to get listeners ready for a Saturday night out, the station has just announced.

The man behind Maniac 2000, who has recently remixed tracks for Alan Walker (Faded) and Gavin James (Nervous), will be in the mix from 4pm till 6pm, starting on July 2nd.

He says he’s looking forward to the new gig: “iRadio has become a dominating force on the Irish radio landscape and I am delighted to be joining the team to present iGnite each Saturday from 4.”

Mark previously worked with RTÉ, at 2FM and 2XM and hosted drivetime on Pulse in the 90s.

iRadio Programme Controller Mark Cunning says that the much-loved radio and club DJ is a very exciting signing for the station: “I’m delighted to have Mark come on board with iRadio. In hiring Mark, we’ve added yet another household name to our already impressive schedule.

“He’s a dominant force in both the radio and club scene not only in Ireland but across Europe and his popularity and profile continues to grow. I can’t wait get Mark on air. Saturday evenings are about to get even better on Irish radio.”
